2023 Student of the Year

Alex was the first student enrolled in Cargill Aeronautical's Youth Professional Pilot and Train-to-Work Programs. He started his journey in the Fall of 2022 and received his Commercial Pilot Licence in the Fall of 2023. He is currently pursuing his Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) License with an anticipated completion date of April 2024. After passing his CFI check-ride, Alex will work for Cargill Aeronautical as a full-time instructor.

In addition to his aviation training, Alex is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Penn State-York Campus. He will graduate in May 2024. To help fund his education, Alex has worked for Rutters Farm Store and the Funtastic Skate and Snowboard Shop in York, PA.
