Women and minorities have historically been under represented in the aviation industry. In 2021, 5.3% women, 3.9% Black or African American, 1.5% Asian, and 6.1% Hispanic/Latino were aircraft pilot or flight engineers. Among aircract mechanics, 6.9% were women, 23.3% are Hispanic/Latino, 9.7% Black or African American and 6.6% Asian.

Cargill Aeronautical is dedicated to creating an evironment that is inclusive of all people regardless of age, sex, race or ethnicity by:

 
  • Partnering with PWAP, a local non-profit dedicated to helping low-income and minorities gain access to flight training.
  • Offering work/training opportuities for qualified student pilots .
  • Offering Aircraft Technician Apprenticeships to qualified individuals.
  • Employing a diverse workforce.
